The future is clear

Building the Future of the Temporary Works Industry

About ScaffPlan

ScaffPlan isn't just another software company. We're redefining how an entire industry works - from the ground up.

Built by scaffolders, engineers, and technologists who've lived the chaos, we're here to bring clarity, control, and confidence to one of the most critical and overlooked sectors in construction: temporary works.

We're not just building tools. We're building the operating system for how this industry runs.

What We Believe

We believe the people who build the world deserve better tools to run it. That belief is the foundation of everything we do.

From the Ground Up: A Story That Starts on Site

Simon Boyes didn’t set out to build a tech company. He was running Benchmark Scaffolding, leading high-risk, high-performance projects in North Queensland, Australia. He was dealing with the same broken systems everyone else in the industry tolerated: outdated drawings, inconsistent communication and collaboration, missed follow-ups, no way to track what was really happening on the ground.

"Simon knew how to build anything. Ben knew how to prove it could stand up."

So, he started building his own tools — not to start a business, but to survive the one he was running.

But even the best-built scaffold needs engineering. That’s where Ben Beaumont came in.

Ben, founder of UK-based design consultancy 48.3, had spent over two decades on the technical front lines of temporary works. He brought the engineering depth and design structure needed to turn Simon’s idea into something much bigger.

Together, they weren’t just solving a problem. They were creating the platform that could transform an industry.

The Industry Isn't Broken
It's Just Been Ignored

Temporary works sits at the heart of every major project, yet it’s been left behind by technology.

Paper systems, spreadsheets, disconnected tools, and a constant battle for clarity.

We believe this industry deserves better.

So we're building tools that are:

  • Built by industry insiders
  • Engineered for clarity, speed and safety
  • Designed to be usable in the real world - even for non-technical teams
  • Connected across every part of your business

We're not here to digitise paperwork. We're here to change how the best in the industry work.

Our Mission

To empower temporary works businesses to run safer, faster, and more profitably - by giving them the tools they've always deserved

We're not just here to solve problems. We're here to elevate the industry.

What we stand for

We believe in:

  • Built-by-experience
Every tool we create comes from lived problems we've faced ourselves
  • No fluff. No filler.
Every feature must create real-world impact
  • Blue-collar brilliance
You don't need to be a tech expert to run a great business.
  • Respect for the work
Scaffolding and formwork are skilled, high-pressure trades. Our software reflects that.
  • Transparency always
In tools, in pricing, in how we grow with our customers.

Recognised for Innovation.
Trusted by the Best.

We didn't ask for attention. We just solved problems no one else would.

ScaffPlan has been recognised with multiple global innovation awards and is now used by teams across Australia, the UK, Europe, and North America — including global powerhouses like Altrad, the world’s largest scaffolding contractor.

We’ve been featured on the front cover of ScaffMag, presented on global stages, and led some of the most complex scaffold designs in the world. But the only thing that really matters?

Making your business run better.

Our vision:
Set the Global Standard

We're not here to compete.
We're here to define the category.

We imagine a future where:

  • Every temporary works contractor runs on real-time data
  • Design, delivery, and inspection are fully connected
  • Jobs are safer, faster and more profitable
  • Software actually fits the industry it serves

We want to be the platform that made everyone say, "That's when the industry changed."

Why now?

Temporary works is the first thing needed on a construction site — but too often, it’s the last thing to be thought of.

While other industries have embraced technology, ours has been left behind. The tools we’ve used for decades no longer reflect the pace, scale, or safety expectations of today’s projects.

That has to change.

And it’s not just about productivity. It’s about people.

In temporary works, the risks are real. The margin for error is razor-thin. What’s drawn on paper becomes someone’s platform, someone’s job, someone’s safety.

Every time we reduce confusion, avoid a miscommunication, or prevent a task from falling through the cracks — we’re not just saving time. We’re helping ensure that every person on that site goes home safely to their family.

That's what this is really about.

The companies that adopt better systems now will lead the future of temporary works. Those that don’t will be left trying to catch up.
