New Tools
Tube & fitting
These additions to ScaffPlan 1.6 significantly improve the speed, accuracy, and flexibility of scaffold design projects that use tube & fitting:
- The Tube & Clip tool streamlines the modeling process, allowing users to easily create tubes and fittings between them by simply clicking on two points in the model.
- The Tube Connector tool greatly improves the creation of tubes with connectors, enhancing the overall scaffold design process.
- Bay Tool: Tube & Clip bays feature enables faster and more efficient construction of Tube and Clip bays using a variety of blocks.
Temporary roof automation
Introducing our exciting new Temporary roof tool that revolutionizes the modeling process for temporary roof structures.
Previously, ScaffPlan provided all the functionality to create temporary roofs, but it required a manual, piece-by-piece approach. We listened to your feedback and developed a new automated tool that does all the design work for you.
With the addition of Layher Keder Roof XL, ScaffPlan 1.6 offers one of its first temporary roofs for users to incorporate into their scaffold designs.

Proscaff system available
The ScaffPlan Version 1.6 introduces another system to the platform, along with PERI UP Flex, with the introduction of O-Proscaf and U-Proscaf.
These systems provide construction professionals with even more options when planning projects.
It is important to note that the engineering module for the Proscaf system is not yet supported with this version.
Major Enhancements
Swift reference model tracing
With the new and improved Snapping to reference models feature, tracing over imported reference models in ScaffPlan has become much easier and faster with the release of ScaffPlan 1.6.
At ScaffPlan, we understood the importance of importing 3D reference models and designing scaffolding around them for accurate and efficient project planning. That's why we've made this process even more straightforward in ScaffPlan 1.6, to support precise placement of scaffolding exactly where you need it in your designs.
And the best part — our enhanced Snapping functionality works on sloping surfaces too!
Drag and drop multiple bays
The addition of Multiple Bays creation to the Item tool greatly improves the convenience and speed of modeling bays.
We have invested a significant amount of time in enhancing the functionality of our Bay tools for version 1.6, so it can now be as easy as dragging and dropping your bay along a wall.
While our user friendly contextual toolbar enables the multiple bay creation feature on the fly. Designing scaffold bays with ScaffPlan has never been easier.
Sloping ground conditions — no problem
ScaffPlan users can now easily access and use support for sloping ground conditions through the contextual toolbar of the Bay tool.
This enhancement further enhances the adaptability and convenience of the software in real-world construction environments.
Create multiple components in one go
A standout feature in the latest version of ScaffPlan, 1.6, is the exciting addition of multiple components creation in the Item tool. This feature further enhances convenience and speed in modeling by allowing users to create multiple components in one go.
The contextual toolbar on the component insertion enables users to easily enable the multiple components creation feature on the fly. This feature is especially convenient when creating multiple standards in a stack with just 2 points clicked in the model or when creating multiple ledgers, trusses, and more.
Formwork, propping, and shoring applications (base plates and U-jacks)
For ScaffPlan 1.6, we have made significant enhancements to the creation of base plates for the Item tool. This is especially useful for designers who use ScaffPlan for temporary works applications. As this improvement includes base plates and U-jacks for formwork, propping, and shoring applications.
