Simon came up from the yard and spent over a decade building Benchmark Scaffolding, running crews on hundreds on projects worth hundreds of millions, before selling the business in 2024. He founded ScaffPlan to solve the problems he knew first-hand. With Ben, he sets the company's direction, putting AI and technology to work where it makes the biggest difference on site.

Chartered Civil Engineer and FICE with over 22 years in scaffolding and temporary works. Ben co-authored the industry guidance on managing scaffolding to BS 5975 and founded design consultancy 48.3. At ScaffPlan he leads how the business reaches and supports its customers and brings an engineer's perspective to the product.

With Simon, he sets the company's direction, putting AI and new technology to work where it creates the most value for the industry.
