Before your onboarding session
- Check your inbox for a confirmation email from sales@scaffplan.com
- Add sales@scaffplan.com to your safe senders list so nothing goes to junk
- If you have an IT department, let them know you'll be installing software and may need admin access
- Keep an eye out for a call from our team — we'll try you by phone first to arrange your session
Got questions?
We’ve answered the most common ones below to help you get started.
- What happens after I submit this form?
-
You'll receive a confirmation email from sales@scaffplan.com. A member of our team will then call you to arrange your onboarding session based on your preferred start date. If we can't reach you by phone, we'll follow up by email.
- What happens during the onboarding session?
-
We'll install ScaffPlan with you on a video call, one-to-one. By the end of the session you'll have everything set up and access to our eLearning, knowledge base, and AI support agent. The session takes around 30-45 minutes.
- Does ScaffPlan work on Mac?
-
ScaffPlan runs on Windows only. If you use a Mac, you can run ScaffPlan through Parallels or a similar virtual machine, but you will need a Windows licence. Trimble Connect, our viewing and collaboration tool, is available on Mac and iPad.
- What specification does my computer need?
-
Your onboarding advisor will check your machine is suitable during the session. As a guide, you'll need a Windows PC with at least 8GB of RAM and a dedicated graphics card. Older or low-spec machines can cause performance issues, particularly with Tekla Structures.
- Do I need admin permissions to install ScaffPlan?
-
Yes. You'll need to be able to download and install software on your computer. If your machine is managed by an IT department, let them know before your session so they can either grant access or be available during the call.
- Do I need to install SketchUp or Tekla before the session?
-
No. Do not install anything before your onboarding session. Your advisor will walk you through everything on the call, including the host application and ScaffPlan. Installing ahead of time without guidance is the most common cause of setup problems.
- How long is the free trial?
-
The ScaffPlan for SketchUp trial is 7 days. The ScaffPlan for Tekla trial is 14 days. Your trial starts when your account is activated during the onboarding session, not when you submit this form.
- Will I be charged automatically?
-
No. Your trial is completely free and there is no payment required to get started. If you choose to continue after the trial, a member of our team will talk you through the pricing options.
